Pipe Welder
Pay: $28–$35/hour DOE
Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Location: Catoosa, OK

Weld Test: Open Root 3G MIG/Flux Core Fill in Cap Test and a 6G TIG Root/Flux Fill in Cap on 2-inch Schedule 160 ( must have 2 years of TIG experience )

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled  Pipe Welder  to join our team in Catoosa. The  Pipe Welder  will be responsible for performing high-quality welds on piping systems, setting up advanced welding equipment, and ensuring all work complies with specifications and safety standards. This position requires strong TIG experience and the ability to pass both 3G and 6G weld tests.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform set-up and operation of advanced welding equipment

• Execute  Open Root 3G MIG/Flux Core and 6G TIG Root/Flux Fill welds on Schedule 160 pipe

• Inspect and repair defective welds while maintaining acceptable repair appearance

• Troubleshoot welding issues to minimize scrap, rework, and downtime

• Ensure welds meet required quality and safety standards

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following safety protocols

• Collaborate effectively with supervisors and team members

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of pipe welding experience

• Proficiency in  MIG, Flux Core, and TIG welding techniques

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Ability to pass both 3G and 6G weld tests

• Attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality

• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Physical Demands & Safety

The  Pipe Welder  role requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in a fabrication shop environment while following all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
