Job Title: Inventory Specialist
Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week (Monday Friday)
Job Summary:
The Inventory Specialist will work in a hospital setting , ensuring that all departments receive the supplies they need in a timely and accurate manner. This role supports daily clinical operations by maintaining inventory levels, delivering supplies, and keeping detailed records of all transactions. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, stage, and deliver medical supplies to hospital departments as requested.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including tracking supply usage and documenting stock levels.
Monitor inventory to identify shortages and communicate replenishment needs.
Ensure all supplies are properly labeled, stored, and handled according to safety and compliance standards.
Collaborate with hospital staff and team members to support smooth supply chain operations.
Assist with inventory audits, stock rotation, and restocking shelves as needed.
Safely lift, move, and transport medical supplies and equipment.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in inventory, warehouse, or supply chain roles preferred; experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is a plus.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to safely lift and transport medical supplies (up to required weight limits).
Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation.
