Job Title: Senior .NET Application Developer

Location: Madison, WI (Hybrid 60% Remote / 40% Onsite)

Duration: Through 06/30/2026, with possibility of annual extension

Position Overview

IRG Clients is seeking an experienced Senior .NET Application Developer to support the analysis, design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise applications built on the Microsoft .NET platform. This role will also involve Oracle database design and integration, modernization of existing systems, and development of new applications to support agency business needs.

The ideal candidate is a self-driven technical professional who can take ownership of assigned work, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and ensure solutions comply with State of Wisconsin and DNR security, accessibility, and technology standards.

Top Skills & Required Experience

• Advanced application development experience within the Microsoft .NET Framework, including analysis, design, and development (8+ years)
• Hands-on coding experience using .NET MVC, C#, JavaScript, and Bootstrap (8+ years)
• Strong experience applying accessibility and security standards to custom enterprise applications (6+ years)
• Extensive Oracle database experience , including schema design, SQL development, stored procedures, and performance tuning (8+ years)
• Experience using Azure DevOps , including code repositories, work item tracking, and CI/CD processes (4+ years)

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Prior experience working with the government agency
• Proficiency with Microsoft tools such as SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel, and other Office applications
• Experience with GIS technologies , particularly Esri JavaScript APIs

Interview Process

Round 1:

60-minute in-person interview

Immediately followed by a technical exam (up to 30 minutes)

Round 2:

60-minute in-person interview
