Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Valdosta, Georgia

Job Summary:

• The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery, mechanical equipment, and systems in a food production facility.
• This includes motors, pumps, conveyors, and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines and equipment.
• Inspect, adjust, and replace parts using tools and blueprints.
• Operate tools such as drill press, grinder, and welding equipment.
• Maintain work area and equipment cleanliness.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and plumbing systems.
• Collaborate with the supervisor to complete tasks efficiently.
• Adhere to safety, food safety, and GMP guidelines.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 5 years of relevant experience in maintenance or similar role.
• Welding skills (stainless & aluminum) preferred.
• Experience with pumps, motors, valves, fans, electrical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
