? Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week
We’re seeking a motivated Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Technician to support automation, control systems, and field installations in an industrial environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on electrical skills, troubleshooting ability, and a willingness to grow their expertise in automation and HMI/PLC programming.
Assist with HMI development (primarily Red Lion and PanelView).
Support PLC programming and troubleshooting using Rockwell/Allen Bradley software.
Work with Wonderware and related industrial automation systems.
Perform basic electrical troubleshooting on field devices including relays, transmitters, 4–20 mA circuits, Modbus devices, and communication equipment.
Run 24V power to new devices and properly terminate Cat5 and 16/2 pair cable.
Commission and install field devices (Modbus equipment, HMI swaps, PLC changeouts, I/O card swaps, etc.).
Document programs, C&Es, and field installations — taking photos and keeping detailed notes.
Maintain a stocked service vehicle with basic tools, cable, and testing equipment.
Basic electrical hand tools for field visits.
Multimeter capable of reading mA, VDC, VAC, Ohms.
Modbus converter for device communication and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with Modbus communication and industrial networking.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
Experience with Rockwell/Allen Bradley PLCs and HMI systems.
Previous experience with automation commissioning or integration .
Strong documentation and communication skills.
Willingness to learn and expand into advanced automation tasks.
