Job Description
Building Materials / Construction Company in Montrose looking for Full Time Yard and Shop including Forklift.
Monday - Friday, 7am - 5pm (Schedule may vary some)
*$19/hr *
General Labor / Yard Associate / Forklift
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload building materials, lumber, and supplies using forklifts and manual methods.
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe yard and warehouse environment.
- Assist customers and delivery drivers with loading and material verification.
- Inspect and document incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Support inventory control through regular counts and material tracking.
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Perform general labor duties including lifting, stacking, and staging materials as needed.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating forklifts and handling building materials.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Team-oriented attitude with reliable attendance and work ethic.
