Coordinator II - CMC - Estelle **Huntsville, Texas, United States** **New** Clerical & Administrative Support UTMB Health Requisition # 2506595 The mission of Correctional Managed Care is to address the healthcare needs of underserved patient populations within the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) and the Texas Juvenile Justice Department (TJJD). **_JOB SUMMARY_** **:** Manages activities for a project or program. **_ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS_** **:** + Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of a program directly related to management or general business operation. + Ensures the goals and objectives specified are accomplished in accordance with prescribed priorities, deadlines and funding conditions. + Determines methods and procedures for program, staffing requirements, budget and resources. + Assesses program status and implements appropriate actions. + Delegates activities of support staff. + Provides technical advise to assist in solving problems. + Serves as resource and subject matter expert. + Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure established for department. + Performs related duties as required. **_KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES_** **:** + Must have the ability to organize and manage tasks, schedules, and information efficiently. + Must have strong verbal and written communication skills to successfully interact with colleagues and clients. + Must posses strong attention to detail ensuring accuracy and error prevention. + Must have the ability to prioritize tasks and meeting deadlines. + Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite. + Must have the ability to handle sensitive information discretely and ensure confidentiality. + Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills to find solutions to challenges that arise. + Must be flexible and able to handle changing priorities. + Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. + Must maintain a courteous and professional demeanor. **_EQUIPMENT_** **:** Standard office equipment. **_WORK ENVIRONMENT_** **:** Standard office environment. Security clearance is required; pre-employment drug testing is also required. **_REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE_** **:** Associate's degree or equivalent and three (3) years related experience.
