Job Description

Description We are seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support the physical deployment, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of on-premises infrastructure across multiple data centers. This role is hands-on and requires strong experience working with server, storage, and networking hardware. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong attention to detail, and can coordinate with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure infrastructure is deployed to operational and security standards. Key responsibilities include: - Rack, cable, and validate physical servers, storage, and switches across both sites. - Implement and maintain KVM and remote-management solutions for critical systems. - Perform ESX, MAAS, and firmware upgrades in line with Apple standards. - Integrate infrastructure monitoring and reporting with IS&T systems. - Maintain detailed documentation of configuration, topology, and inventory. - Conduct quarterly audits, capacity assessments, and preventive maintenance reviews. Additional Skills & Qualifications * 10-12 years of experience * Dell PowerEdge, Isilon, Pure Storage, Cisco switching * Working knowledge of data center safety, labeling, and cable management best practices Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Sunnyvale, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $75.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
