Job Description

Hi my name is Sarah and I run a small local business in East Montpelier, VT. My dog daycare and boarding business is looking for a new employee! I am looking for a reliable, organized and compassionate person to support daily operations. This is a hybrid role that involves many different tasks.

You will work closely with me in a one on one capacity and I appreciate clear communication, patience, reliability and a positive attitude.

Pay : $25/hour

Hours : 20-24 hours per week. Approx. 18 hours in person and 2-6 hours remote/work from home

Status : Part time/hybrid

Benefits : Bring your own dog to work with you, flexible work schedule and all meals during work hours are provided or paid for

I am seeking a part time employee to assist me with taking my awesome group of daycare dogs on pack hikes Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Key Responsibilities:

- Client communication and coordination of schedules

- Basic accounting and book keeping

- Support the business owner with day to day operational tasks

- Light cleaning of dog areas

- Participating in pack walks (must be physically fit and able to walk in all seasons for 2-2.5 hours)

Ideal Candidate:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Highly organized and detail oriented

- Dependable, punctual and self motivated

- Comfortable with dogs and physical activity outside

- Able to balance administrative work with hands-on tasks

- Prior administrative or office experience preferred but not required

- Must love dogs!
